Crossfit Moontown Kids Update and Currently Enrolling!!

Our Crossfit Kids Program has been up and running now for 2 weeks!  If we have your kids in class - Thank You - we are so glad they are here with us!  As you know, this is a new program at Moontown, and we want your kids to have the best possible experience that they can have! For this reason we are working through the kinks as we go and have decided to make a couple of changes and additions based on demand!


Please note the following changes and additions listed below!!

COMING SOON -- PreK class!

  • Starting at the end of May (May 30)
  • Class Days: Tuesday's and Thursday's
  • Class Times: 11:00-11:20 (20 min class)
  • Cost: $40/month for 2 classes/week
  • Ages: 2 1/2-5
  • LIMITED AVAILABILITY!!
  • Goal for PreK Class:  Establishing a foundation of FUN while introducing the functional movements of CrossFit!

The CrossFit Kids class will be moving days!

  • Starting the FIRST week of May (May 2)
  • Class Days: Tuesday's and Thursday's
  • Class Times: 3:30-4:15PM
  • Cost: $50/month for 2 classes/week
  • Ages: 6-10
  • Currently ENROLLING!!
  • Goal for Kids Class: To develop and improve general physical fitness in order to prepare kids to be safe in sports (and life in general). Despite the increased physical demands of the class, the focus of the Kids program is still focused on FUN!!

We are excited to announce that we will be adding a Pre-Teens Class!!

  • Starting the SECOND week of May (May 8th)
  • Class Days: Monday's and Wednesday's
  • Class Time: 3:30-4:15PM
  • Cost: $50/month for 2 classes/week 
  • Ages: 10-15
  • Currently ENROLLING!
  • Goal for Pre-Teen Class: This class is the perfect bridge between the “fun” of the CrossFit Kids class and the intensity of the CrossFit Adults/Teens class. The workouts are more performance based and light loads are introduced. The goal is to prepare the athletes for the rigors of sport and the next level of CrossFit all in an age appropriate setting that will allow the athlete to thrive.
    • ****Athletes will be adding load in this class based solely on how they are moving.  I expect solid mechanics and consistency before increasing intensity.

The kids in each of these classes will be voting for an official "Space" related name for each program towards the end of May!

Also, the week of May 15 will be bring a friend to class week! One friend per kid will be allowed!!

The Kids and Pre-Teens workouts will be added to the website beginning in May.  You will be able to check the workout the night before class!
